What About Creative Variations?
Ok so there is a lot you can do with our versatile and customisable dough base. Starting with the ‘white long French Stick’, you can make:
White Garlic Bread
Transforming a baguette into flavourful garlic bread is simple and satisfying. Start by slicing the baguette diagonally, creating long, thick slices. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Generously brush the mixture onto each slice, making sure to coat both sides. Place the slices on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven until golden and crispy.
The result is irresistibly aromatic and delicious garlic bread with a crispy exterior and a soft, buttery centre. Your customers will keep coming back for more!
White Three Cheese Plaits
Start with the White Long French Stick dough base.
- Cut dough into 3 even pieces. Flatten out dough pieces using your hands allowing enough room for filling.
- Add a different cheese along the centre of each piece and roll it into a log sealing the long seam and pinching the edges closed.
- Place the 3 pieces side by side and connect them together at one end. Carefully cross the logs over each other to create a plait, then take both finished ends and gently mold into a Vienna shape.
- Place plaits on prepared trays. Spray with water and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Follow the rest of the preparation instruction provided in our method sheet for this creative variation.
